The plugin includes a full-featured media gallery that opens in a modal window:
- Thumbnail window — a grid of all photos and videos from reviews (contextual: for a product, or across the all-reviews page).
- Full-size viewer — navigation between media, review information, and a custom in-modal video player with its own controls, distinct from the native fullscreen player.
🧮 Custom rating criteria: breakdown, not just one number
Beyond the overall star rating, PVR Pro adds custom rating criteria to WooCommerce product reviews — Quality, Value, Shipping Speed, Durability, or anything you define:
- Define criteria globally or per product, with a per-criterion rating bar and average.
- Multilingual titles — criteria names are stored per language, matching your WordPress locale setup.
- Bind criteria to product categories with a custom sort order, so electronics stores ask about battery life and clothing stores ask about fit.
- The summary block renders above the review list, so buyers see strengths and weaknesses at a glance.
💡 Why this matters
A single "4.5 stars" number hides the story. A criteria breakdown — per WooCommerce review, per product — tells buyers exactly where the product is strong. And richer structured content is good for search engines too.
